PHA Concern Follow-up and Resolution
Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) normally involves the use of qualitative techniques to identify and assess hazards associated with deviation from design intent for safety significance.
There are different PHA techniques utilized such as HAZOP, What If Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and LOPA. These PHA techniques typically result in findings and recommendations related to overpressure protection that require follow up by qualified engineers in relief system design.
Inglenook assists our clients with further evaluation of their PHA findings and the implementation of necessary corrective action.
When engineering design for resolution is needed, Inglenook works closely with our clients to develop process design packages for the selected mitigation solution, including detailed engineering calculations as part of the support documentation.
